She was a member of the Palo United Methodist Church, enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, working on her flower gardens and being a caregiver to others. Diana had a true love of family and friends and will be greatly missed. She married Merlin G. Fox on June 18, 1957. Diana is loved and survived by her husband Merlin and their children; Shellery Obery, Carolyn Fox (Don Badder),of Ionia, Merlin (Donna) Fox Jr. of Belding, Julie Fox (Dean Wittenbach) of Ionia, Bryan (Peggy) Fox of Pewamo, Carlene Fox of Saranac, Deanna (Brian) Foco of Ionia and Stephanie (Michael) Morey of DeWitt, Helena (Steve) Hoover of Bronson, Matt ( Lyinda) Fox of Ionia, adopted daughter; Shelia King, 40 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, special cousin; Gayle Ritenburgh, her second mother; Wilma Obery, her siblings; George Obery and Amanda Obery. Diana was preceded by her parents, two sisters; Peggy Cherpes, Barb Stewart, two sons; Clarence and Mark, one grandson; Bryan Lee Dolley and one great grandson; Gordon Dolley.
In keeping with family wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 23, 2015 at Palo United Methodist Church with Pastor Gerald Erskine officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the church. No visitation will take place. Memorials may be given to Palo United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at church or at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where cremation services have been entrusted. Messages of condolence may also be given at www.jffh.com
