Mrs. Anna C. Johnson, aged 73 years, the widow of the late Edward Johnson, died at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home in Darlington. She had been in ailing health for some time. She is survived by the following children: Anna of Johnstown, Mrs. Lawrence Rose of Ligonier R. D.; Arthur of Darlington, Carl of Ligonier R. D.; Adolph and Edward both of Ligonier RD; and Mrs. Eugene Riggs of Laughlintown. Funeral services were held at the Darlington Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Carlson. Interment was made in Keltz Cemetery. (Ligonier Echo, January 4, 1933)
