Helen was the daughter of Lewis Felder and Minnie Mae West Felder. She was educated in the Dooly County School System. She was employed with Famers Homes as a Contractor until her retirement. She joined New Bethel Baptist Church in Unadilla, Georgia as a youth. After getting married and relocating to Perry, Georgia, she joined Oldfield Baptist Church where she served on the Bereavement Ministry, Mother Board and member of the Senior Choir. She also was connected with The Lord's Table of Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, Georgia where she cooked and served meals to the needy. She was a member of the W. G. Bass Gospel Ensemble and a Charter member of the Order of Eastern Star Eve Chapter #735. She enjoyed cooking and family get togethers.
Helen was married to Arthur Lee Adams. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Rosie Marie Adams and Gail Anita Adams, 2 sons, Fernando Deval Adams and Freddie James Adams, 3 sisters, Donna Pearl Adams, Alberta Felder Durham and Mary Alice Felder, 7 brothers, Lewis Felder Jr, Tommy Felder Sr, Eddie Lee Felder, Freddie Jay Felder, Nathaniel Felder Sr, Derreth J. Felder and Joe Curtis Felder and 1 grandson, Arkill Stripling.
Survivors:
6 Daughters: Gloria Robertson, Sametrice Adams Carter(Lazarus), Bobby Jean Thomas, Martha Ann Lawson, Angela Wells and Evelyn Snead.
5 Sons: Larry Felder(Marsha), Arthur L. Adams Jr(Brenda), Roy Adams, Rickey Adams and Antonio Rogers.
