Obituary for Charles B. Turner
Charles B. Turner, 59, passed away August 29, 2023 in Greenwood. He was born July 27, 1964 in Rushville to Raymond & Joann (Haley) Turner. He was a 1981 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. Charles served four years in the US Army National Guard from 1984-1988.
Charles worked various jobs over the years. He was an avid IU basketball & Indianapolis Colts fan!
He is survived by a son, Riley Turner of Columbus, his daughters, Jackie Jo (Adam) Moore and Baylee Lee all of Indianapolis and McKenzi Turner of Columbus, step daughters, Ashley Barnes & Jessica Lytle both of Shelbyville, brothers, Vernon (Debbie) Turner of Moscow and Larry (Peggy) Turner of Madison, sisters, Cindy (Bennie) Newton of Moscow and Melinda Bever of Connersville, 6 grandkids and 7 step grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tim and sisters, Brenda Sebastian & Rebecca Turner.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Bruce Pierce presiding. Friends can visit the family an hour prior to service in the mortuary. Burial of cremated remains will follow in the Moscow Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's favorite charity.
