Funeral services for Terry L. Adams, 51, Spearfish, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, at 10 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Rev. Randal Fett officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery at Sturgis.
A closed casket visitation will be at the Carlsen-Jolley Funeral Home in Spearfish from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 1999.
He died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Terry Lynn Adams was born on May 20, 1948, at Sturgis to Alec and Helen (Ulrich) Adams. He grew up and attended schools in Vale, S.D., graduating from Vale High School in 1966. In 1969 he entered the US Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He was married to "S.C." on July 10, 1970, in Vale. They moved to Spearfish in 1971. He was a general contractor at Black Hills Builders.
Terry loved old cars and was working on restoration of 1957 Chevrolet. He was an avid fisherman.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Spearfish, a retired Spearfish Volunteer Fireman, a member of the VFW.
Those grateful for having shared his life are his wife; his mother; his daughter and special; three brothers and a special God daughter and her family.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Beverly.
Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House.
