BEN ARNOLDGraveside funeral services for Florence L. Jones, 83, of Ben Arnold were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2000, at the Little River Cemetery near Jones Prairie. Rev. James E. Lafferty officiated. Burial followed in the Little River Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, a retired homemaker, was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Milam County to Wade and Edna Sparks Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Jones, in 1996.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Jones of Ben Arnold, Robert Jones of Hanover and George Jones of Cameron; a daughter, Mary Weaks of Temple; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
