Mrs Julia Brittain, 79, ... died yesterday in a local hospital after an illness of about six weeks.
Mrs Brittain, a native of Santa Rosa, had lived all her life in Sonoma county with the exception of a few years in Mendocino county. She was a long-time member of the Christian Science Church.
She is survived by four nieces: Mrs Carl Brown of San Diego and Mrs Charles Karcher, Mrs. Harry Karcher and Mrs. Charles Moodey all of Napa: and a nephew Cyril Mize of San Diego.
Christian Science services have been tentatively set for 2 Thursday at the Welti Funeral Parlors with Miss Etta Walker as reader. She will be buried in the Fulkerson Cemetery.
