Amelia Rogers Kuykendall was born around 1862 to Joseph B. and Ellen Stewart Rogers. On 21 Oct 1877 she married James Kuykendall in Madison County, Kentucky. She died sometime after the birth of their last child in 1884. Jim and Amelia had three children: Lucy (1879-1963), Joseph (1881-1964), and Julia Elizabeth (who went by both Ninnie and Lizzie) (1884-1953). While her gravesite has not yet been identified, it seems likely both she and James are buried in Paint Lick Cemetery, where two of their three children are also buried.
