Roy Barklind, of Mora, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Clare's Living Community in Mora. He was 82 years old.
INTERMENT will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

Roy Delano Barklind, of Mora, formerly of Anacortes, Washington, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Clare's Living Community in Mora. He was 82 years old.
Roy was born on July 6, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents David and Stancy (Carlson) Barklind. He graduated from East Wenatchee High School in Washington. He served in the US Navy. He married Sandra Wolf in Port Angeles, Washington. They made their home in Anacortes, Washington and were blessed with four children. Roy loved model railroad trains and listening to his ham radio. He was an avid fan of Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion and never missed a show.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sandra, and four siblings, Merlyn, Charles, Mavis, and Georgia.
He is survived by his children, Gary Barklind of Bellingham, WA; Andrew Wolfe of Standwood, WA; Lynn Toseland of Federal Way, WA; and Chris Thiel of Dallas, OR; grandchildren, Mia, Anika, Lucian, Tristan, Mikayla, and Spencer; many other relatives and friends.
