JR married Judy Crnkovich on July 18, 2000. He was employed with Teton Truss for seven years and always worked construction.
JR enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, demolition derby and camping with his kids and Uncle Kim.
JR is survived by his wife Judy, children, Christopher, Katelyn, Kaileb, Charie and Emma; his mother Jackie Pack, siblings, Nina, Tina, Brandy and Brady; great grandmother, DellMay Penn, all of Afton.
JR was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Loren (Tuff) Walton, grandfather Robert Strumpp, great-grandfather and grandmother Stumpp, cousin, Dalin Ferrie and niece Kala Pack.
Funeral services were held at Schwab's Mortuary on Wednesday February 13, 2008 at noon. Graveside services took place at the Afton Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been set up at First Bank in Afton for JR's children.
