ATELLA, ALBERT M. 'APE', 58, of MacArthur Blvd., passed away at home on Friday, March 7, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Poy) Atella for ten years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony & Dorothy (Rogers) Atella.

Albert was a Production Supervisor for Astro-Med, Inc. of West Warwick for 17 years, retiring in April 2007 due to illness. He was a US Army Sergeant, serving in Vietnam. Albert enjoyed sculpturing, woodworking, painting and playing the harmonica & guitar.

He was the father of 1st Lt. Amara J. Atella, stationed in Iraq; Amy E. Morin, & Stephanie L. Morley both of Coventry. Grandfather of Jillian P. Morley. Brother of Anthony Atella & Susan Gaipo. Brother in law of Jamie and Stephen Poy.
