Soda Springs-Funeral services will be held in Soda Springs Wednesday at 1 p.m. for Mrs. Beth Sibbett Bates, 31, who died from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Bates, a resident of Nyssa, Ore., was hurt in a crash Friday near Caldwell.
She was born at Ogden, Utah; on April 2, 1932, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sibbett. She was graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1950, and entered nurses training in Pocatello.
She was married to Don Bates April 7, 1951. They had lived in Pocatello, Burley and American Falls before moving to Nyssa in 1961.
Mrs. Bates was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, active in Relief Society and Primary. She was a member of PTA and Toastmistresses.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Lora Lee, both of Nyssa; her parents, Soda Springs, and a twin sister, Mrs. Dean Ferrin, Blackfoot.
Graveside services will be held at the Fairview Cemetery, conducted by Bishop Edwin B. Smith of the Soda Springs First LDS Ward. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the Allen Funeral Home in Soda Springs.
