Vivian was born near Marshfield, Warren County, Ind., on Dec. 10, 1913, the daughter of Talbot and Alta Johnson Cunningham. She graduated from West Lebanon High School. She lived in West Lebanon until moving to Hillsboro in 1975.
She was first married June 29, 1935, in Williamsport to Cleon Chambers. He preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1978. She was later married Dec. 21, 1980, in Covington, Ind., to Virgil Toney. He preceded her in death in August 2002.
Mrs. Toney worked at Radio Materials Corp. in Attica for several years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and attended First Baptist Church in Covington. She loved flowers, crocheting and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: one son, Lloyd E. (Gretchen) Chambers of Covington; one daughter-in-law, Betty (VanPelt) Chambers; six grandchildren, Craig, Curt, Cindy, Betina, Brenda and Belinda; two sisters-inlaw, Flora Cunningham of rural Williamsport and Virginia Cunningham of Williamsport; special friends, Esther Rafferty and Ruth Green. She was preceded in death by both husbands, a son Leroy, and three brothers, Merrill, Talbot Jr. and Donald.
Services were held at Maus Funeral Home in Hillsboro; Officiating: Rev. Brian Williams; Internment: West Lebanon Cemetery; Services entrusted to Grady Funeral Home with Mikel S. Grady in charge of arrangements.
