Barbara Joann Angland, 89, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on Wednesday August 23, 2023.

Barbara loved to travel with her husband, Don Angland. They traveled through 48 different states over the years and she could tell you stories about those trips for days. She loved to go camping at Tellico and sit by the creek reading a good book, her favorite hobbies were reading and bird watching. Barbara was a street rod wife, always traveling to car shows with her husband and many great friends they met along the way. She spent her earlier years raising her five babies, which gave her many grandbabies she enjoyed helping care for every opportunity she got. Barbara was sharp as a tack, even up to her last days, and spread her wisdom on to her kids and grandkids. Don and Barbara had a bond like no other, one you just don't hear of too often. Don adored his loving wife Barbara, always taking care of her and would do anything in the world for her, if it made her happy. They had 74 wonderful years married together.

She was "Momma" to five children, Kathy (Paul) Patterson, Mike Angland, Dennis (Brenda) Angland, Donny (Lynn) Angland, and Tricia (Rickey) Neal. She was "Maw" to 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren she was so very proud of and loved endlessly. She also had several bonus grandchildren she loved like her own and a few grand dogs she loved visits from. Barbara impacted so many lives in her 89 years and will be forever missed and remembered.
