It is with the deepest sorrow that we share the passing of Geraldine Jean Richardson (nee Betker) on 22 September 2022, in Brantford, Ontario at the age of 82. Jean is survived and will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Donald and adoring children Jay and Shari (Rory) Stubbs. "Gram" has left behind 5 devastated grandchildren, Tobin (Tasha) Kortlandt, Peyton Schroeder, Damon Richardson, Brittani (Luke) Hamilton, and Ethan Richardson and two great-grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her father Adolph Betker, step-father Harold Amy, mother Emily Amy (nee Folkes), sister Arly Coiner (nee Betker), daughter-in-law Noelle Richardson and sister Vivian Betker.
We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff of the 2nd floor Stroke Unit at the Brantford General Hospital for their wonderful attentive care.
Cremation has taken place and a private family tribute will be held.
