Mary Christine "Susie" Pryor, age 80, of Marshfield, MO passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO.
She was born February 19, 1943 in Piopolis, IL the daughter of Roman and Mary G. {Bond} Reyling. On February 23, 1963 in Butler, MO she was united in marriage to Olon Leon Pryor, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Pryor and his wife Angela of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Patty Johns and her husband Aaron of Ozark, MO and Mary Dael Saenz of Austin, TX; three brothers, Charlie Reyling and his wife Betty of Dahlgren, IL, Andy Reyling and his wife Diane of Dahlgren, IL and Mark Reyling of Dahlgren, IL; four sisters, Alma Dougherty and her husband Jim of Ledyard, CN, Judy Rapp of Mt. Vernon, IL, Kathy Hayes of Mt. Vernon, IL and Jane Reyling of Las Vegas, NV and four grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers, Pete Reyling, Dick Reyling, Ed Reyling and Tom Reyling.
Susie grew up and attended school in McLeansboro, IL graduating from McLeansboro High School. After moving to Branson, MO she was employed by the Branson School District for many years before going to work at J.C. Penney from where she retired. She enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, bird watching, being outdoors and going on road trips with Leon.
Services were held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Pastor Dale Menefee and Donnie Crawford conducted the services. Burial at Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield, MO.
