Ruby Nicol passed away August 18th, 2023, in Heber City. Born on January 23, 1937, she was the daughter of Rollin Lawton & Lora Ann Humes.

Ruby married her high school sweetheart, Robert Nicol, February 16th, 1956, in the Salt Lake Temple.They made their home in the Heber Valley, moving just across the street from her childhood home, where they raised their children Dennis, Peggy, & Scott.

Ruby loved being outdoors with her beloved cats, tending to her beautiful flower gardens, or Sunday drives in the mountains.

She often reminisced of her time working with the Midway School District as an aide, & all the children she met or about all her customers she came to know & love while working at Madison Dry Cleaners.

She is survived by her sons Gerald Dennis (Christine) Nicol & Scott (Jody) Nicol along with 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Nicol, her son Robert Lyle (Bobby), her daughter Peggy Sweat, 3 brothers (Boyd, Loren & Bruce), a sister (Donna) and her parents.

A viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heber City 4th Ward, 240 East 400 South, on August 23, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Graveside services will be held August 24, 2023, at the Heber City Cemetery beginning at 11:00AM.
