HIS INJURIES PROVED FATAL
John Forney Died in Kalamazoo Hospital Tuesday Morning
John Forney, who suffered severe injuries in a runaway accident near, his home south of the village last Thursday, died early Tuesday morning in the hospital at Kalamazoo. The accident occurred when Mr. Forney attempted to stop his team which became frightened at a passing rig while left standing in the road while he was driving a hog in to the yard. Besides being knocked down and dragged along the road he was run over by the roller to which the team was hitched after he lost his hold on the harness. Mr. Forney leaves a wife and six children, John, who is teaching in Hoboken, N. J., and Glenn, Clyde, Ray, Edna and Emma, all attending school in this village. He also leaves a brother, James, who resides in Virginia, and a sister, Mrs. Della Saunders, of Chicago. The funeral is held this afternoon at Truesdale's in Kalamazoo, in which city burial will be made.
