Mr. Harold T. Sharp, age 96, passed away on August 18, 2023 in
Weatherford. He was born on June 9, 1927 in Parker County to the late
Archie E. Sharp and Nora Lee (Towles) Sharp.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his beloved wife of seventy six years, Mrs.
Dorthea "Dottie" Sharp; by his children, Sharon Southern Karnes and her
husband R.C., Jimmy V. Sharp and his wife Kittie, and by Coy Dean
Sharp; by his grandchildren, Kimberley Warren and her husband Chad,
Donna Peck, Deana Embry and husband Jerry, Doug Sharp and his wife
Audra, Rod Sharp, Travis Southern, and Shelby Sharp Perdue and her
husband Kobi; by his great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Gracie, Zane, Cade,
Tanner, Tessa, Nora, Owen, and Sunny; and by his great-great
granddaughter, Paislee.
Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army during
World War II. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved spending
time with his family.
Visitation will begin on Monday, August 21st, at Galbreaith Pickard
Funeral Chapel from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be
held on Tuesday, August 22nd, at Center Point Baptist Church with Pastor
Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at
the Center Point Baptist Cemetery.
