Ruby May Ferguson of Route 6, Clarksville, died in Red River County Hospital November 5, 1971, at 3:35 a.m. Last rites were held November 7 at 2 p.m. in the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sam Rice officiating. Burial in New Haven cemetery was under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Born November 23, 1898, in Red River County, she had lived all of her life here. She was the daughter of William and Norma Odom Deviney.
Surviving are sons, William M. Ferguson, Ft. Worth, and Volney Ferguson, Cisco, Tex.; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hemingway, Dallas, and Mrs. Kathryn Richardson, Winters, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Corda Billingsley, Clarksville, and Mrs. Rebecca Pace, Dallas; brother, Jack Deviney, Millerton, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
