He was born June 8, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI to George and Camilla Schlehlein. George graduated from Brookfield Central High School in 1960. He was a Vietnam-era Army Veteran, serving from 1964 until 1971. George worked for, and was president of several insurance companies over the years, including American Underwriters and Crump E&S. In later years, he owned E&S Solutions in Brookfield.
George is survived by his sisters, children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and special friend. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from noon until 1 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland, WI with a military service to follow at the Hartland Village Cemetery.
