Linda Jane Lavin of McKinney, Texas passed away October 6, 2022 at the age of 77. She was born on April 26, 1945 to James Edward Lavin and Marilyn Jane (McCune) Lavin in Los Angles, California. Linda worked in the food service industry for many years. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her sons, Donald Coltrane and wife, Marie of Plano, Texas, Barry Coltrane of Richardson, Texas and Brian Coltrane and Kari Grady of Carrollton, Texas; daughters, Laurie Foo and husband, Nicholas of Bellevue, Washington and Wendy Coltrane and James Axtell of Oak Cliff, Texas; nine grandchildren; brothers, Michael Lavin and wife, Diann and James Lavin and wife, Debbie; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Craig Kenneth Coltrane.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2906 Hardin Boulevard, McKinney, Texas 75071. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 for a dedicatory prayer/service. Where she will be laid to rest next to her son.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
