The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Jack was born on September 10, 1948, to Ralph and Myrtle (Woods) Dunning in Austin, Texas where he lived most of his life. He has lived in the Florence community for the past 15 years where he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He served as a funeral director/embalmer for many years in Texas. Jack enjoyed reading the newspaper, reading funeral director magazines, and listening to music.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Myrtle Dunning and two sisters, Ruth, and Peggy.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Betty Lee Dunning of Florence; daughters, Fran Monk (Doyle) of Florence, Jeanette Sauls of Florence, Ginger Lewis of Tallahassee, FL, and Andrea Powers (Greg) of Tallahassee, FL; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
