Sarah Locky Haile McDaniel was the daughter of Mead J. Haile and Livy Ann Cavin. (Her mother and sister Josephine Pearl Haile Coe are also buried at Hibbit.) The Haile family moved from TN to MO when Sarah Locky was a baby. The Haile family left MO about the end of the Civil War. Sarah Locky married Jasper N. Williams in Cooke Co, TX on Sept. 24, 1868. They had two children before he died. Sarah Locky then married John Cass McDaniel on Feb. 1, 1876 in Cooke Co, TX. They had three children before she died in 1883. Her tombstone is a newer stone and descendants feel that it was added when John Cass died in 1932. Her stone says she died in 1885, but a letter written by her father states that she died in 1883. Possibly the old stone, IF there was one, could not be read by 1932.
