Joyce Joan Yeisley was born on August 10, 1930 in Laredo, Missouri the daughter of Walter Cole and Pearl (Davison) Yeisley. Joan entered into eternal rest on August 3, 2023 at Accura Healthcare Center in Shenandoah just shy of her 93rd birthday.

Joan's early years were spent in the communities of Conception Junction, Strahan, Emerson and Yorktown before the family settled in Coin. Joan enjoyed playing basketball during her high school days. She graduated from Coin High School with the Class of 1948. She always looked forward to the annual Coin High School reunions. Catching up with fellow friends and classmates brought her much joy.

On May 23, 1948 she was united in marriage to Lyle R. Fox. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of two children Pam and Alan. The couple operated Fox Garage where she worked as the bookkeeper. She also enjoyed working as a soda jerk at Coin Drug. Joan was very active in the Coin community. As a member of the Coin United Methodist Church she taught Sunday School, was an officer in the UMW, served on the committee for the annual bazaar and organized many funeral dinners. She was also a member of the Coin Library Board and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Some of her interests included camping, taking bus tours, reading, sewing, listening to music, playing the piano, watching the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs, and telling wonderful stories of her past. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lyle; brother Jim (Jody) Yeisley; brothers-in-law Merton Haynes and Donald Fox; and sister-in-law Eulaine (George) Nesmith. Those left to treasure her memory include her daughter Pam (Don) Dennis; son Alan (Rhoda) Fox; grandchildren Peter (Penny) Dennis, Andrew (Erin) Dennis, Daniel Fox, Adrienne Fangman and Sarah Fox; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Bailey, Lauren, Jake, Pamela, Fred, Hayley, Jack, Riley, Finn and Charlotte; great-great grandson Owen; sister Colleen Haynes; other relatives and friends.
