SHIPSTON-ON-STOUR. The Late Mrs. Hurlston. — The funeral of Mrs. Wm. Hurlston, of this town, whose melancholy death, at the age of 40, was caused by falling out of a pony trap on the 7th inst., took place on Saturday last. Deceased expired on the 10th inst. at the residence of Mr. E. Chambers, of Armscott, near which place the sad accident occurred. The mortal remains were conveyed in a hearse, followed by a number of friends, to their resting place in the peaceful churchyard at the village of Tidmington. The funeral service was impressively read by the Rev. J. W. Caldicott, D.D., Rector of Shipston, who at the evening service on Sunday last alluded to the sad event with feelings of deep emotion. | Jackson's Oxford Journal, 19 Jan 1889
