Jack E. Killingsworth, 91, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 in Denton, Texas.
The family will receive friends between 9 and 10 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Jack was born on July 19, 1932 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Forest Killingsworth and Violet Merkle Killingsworth. He grew up in Wichita Falls and later moved to North Texas to be close to his daughter and grandchildren. Jack served his country proudly in the United States Army in Korea and later served in the reserve. He retired from the Texas Highway Department in Wichita Falls as a Draftsman and Surveyor. Jack enjoyed Archery and bowled on a league with friends.
Jack was a good father and was always there for his two daughters and was a caring and good friend to many.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Connie Eubanks; his brother, Burton Killingsworth; and his daughter, Milinda Swartwout.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Rennspies and husband Charles; his son-in-law, Frank Swartwout III; his grandchildren, Frank "Ben" Swartwout IV and wife Elena, Ashley Rennspies, and Andrew Rennspies; his great-grandson, Frank Swartwout V.
