Floy "Bunny" June Anderson Smith passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the age of 81 years old. She was born on June 4, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma to Charles and Dessie (Hunnicutt) Pierot.

Bunny was a talented seamstress. She was full of life, enjoying horses and riding them, and she loved to dance. Bunny enjoyed reading a good book, finding a bargain at garage sales and antiquing. She loved Dominos pizza, but especially loved for her daughter, Claudia, to make her delicious stir fry. Bunny was a member of Mead Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Claudia Perkins and husband Andy of Idabel, Oklahoma, and MedeaniaKilburn and husband Tommy of McAlester, Oklahoma, and her son Monty Anderson and wife Teresa of Durant, Oklahoma, and special niece Nancy Morris of Durant, Oklahoma, as well as her dearest friend Mary Katherine. Her legacy lives on with her twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents Charles and Dessie Pierot, her son Terry Anderson, and her sister Louise Castleman.

A private burial was held at Highland Cemetery in Durant on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. A memorial to honor Bunny's memory will be held at a later date.
