Betsy J. Bramson passed away peacefully at home in Dallas, Texas, on August 5th. She was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Lucille and Marion Goodman. She grew up in Houston, Texas, and attended the University of Texas. Betsy lived in Dallas the majority of her adult life; thus, she was an avid Cowboys and Mavericks fan.

Betsy's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren thought she was flawless. Although she never saw herself this way, she was beautiful and exuded warmth and grace. Her special charm was rooted in the fact that she gave each person her full attention and listened deeply without judgment. Betsy was extraordinarily wise, and she loved her family and friends unconditionally.

She had a modern perspective and was exceptionally curious. Betsy was always young at heart and never felt her age.

Betsy was married to Norman (Buddy) Bramson for many beautiful years. They had a storybook marriage. When Buddy said something funny (which was often), she would throw her head back and howl with laughter. Selfless, even at the end, Betsy's parting words were, "Please don't mourn me. I had a wonderful life."

She was the glue that held the family together, and she was the last surviving member of her generation. Her memory will be forever cherished.

Betsy was predeceased by her loving husband, Buddy Bramson, and her daughter-in-law, Joan Myers.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
