Billie Dillard Hairfield, 70, of 1287 Delaware St., died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 1998, at First Baptist Church of Draper.
Burial will be in Danview Cemetery, Eden.
He was born in Rockingham County, N.C.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 136, member and past president of Y's Men Club, charter member and also retired chief of Draper Vol. Fire Dept. and member of Eden's First Human Relation's Committee, supervisor for Fieldcrest Mills/Karastan Rug Division.
Survivors are his wife, Ruby Hairfield and others.
