Karon Smith Farrar, 74, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on August 10, 2023. Karon was born November 1, 1948 in Toppenish, Washington but grew up in LaCygne, Kansas.
Karon left LaCygne at 19 to work at Hallmark Cards where she retired after 43 years. Karon married Doug Farrar on August 2, 1968. Karon will always be remembered by her love of playing pranks on friends and family. She was always trying to scare or get a good laugh out of those that she loved.
Karon is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Farrar, parents, Joe and Maxine Smith, and brother, Charles Smith.
She is survived by her sister Bonnie Ramsay (Craig), brother Russ Smith (Sylvia), sister-in-law Dianna Smith (wife of Charles Smith), daughters Staci (Randy) Sharp, Tammy (Rob) Shackelford, four grandchildren, Maddy Milburn (Brandon), Cameron Sharp, Nolan Shackelford, Jilian Sharp, and many nieces and nephews.
