Carothers wrote for several shows, including some for Disney's shows such as "Miracle of the White Stallions" and "Emil and the Detectives."Best known for his writing of "The Secret of My Succe$s" which starred Michael J. Fox, and "The Happiest Millionaire," starring John Ritter, and he has also written "Never a Dull Moment" starring Dick Van Dyke and "Hero at Large", starring John Ritter. "Nanny and the Professor" and "Goodnight Beantown" is some of Carothers work for television, & recenlty published "Busker Alley". He passed away of Cancer at the age of 75 years of age.
