Harold G. "Sonny" Getz, 62, of 106 E. Poplar St., Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1992, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley D. "Dolly" Anspach Getz.
Born in Ohio, he was a son of Florence Miller Getz, Lebanon, and the late Raymond Getz. He was a retired employee of the Lebanon Steel Foundry and was a school bus driver for D.B. Fisher Bus Co. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon; Lebanon VFW; Lebanon American Legion and the Friendship Fire Co.
Surviving in addition to his mother are sons, Harold Getz Jr., David Getz, Jeffrey Getz, Dale Getz, all of Lebanon; a granddaughter, Angie Getz; several additional grandchildren; a brother, Robert Getz, Lebanon; and a sister, Arlene Kowal, Lebanon.

Services were held for Harold "Sonny" G. Getz Sr., of 106 E. Poplar St., Lebanon, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992, in the Rohland Funeral Home. He was the husband of the late Shirley "Dolly" D. Anspach Getz.
The Rev. Wilson R. Hoyer, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiated. Interment was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Harold Getz Jr., David Getz, Jeffrey Getz, Dale Getz, Charles Rine, and Larry Rine serving as pallbearers. Military rites were performed by the Lebanon VFW.
