On a beautiful Sabbath Day, April 3, 2022, Theodore "Ted" Nielsen Baldwin, Jr. passed away in Payson, Utah. He was born February 17, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Theodore Nielsen Baldwin, Sr. and Alta Evelyn Anderson Baldwin.

He served his country in the U.S. Army, from June of 1952 to May 1955, during the Korean War conflict.

He married Naomi Gilbert in Salt Lake City, Utah, October 25, 1966.

Ted attended Brigham Young University, obtaining his bachelor's degree. The latter part of his career was spent as an engineer with Utah State Division of Water Rights.

He is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ted is survived by his son, Ken Baldwin, of Payson, Utah; and his daughter, Anita Merrill-Knorr, of West Jordan, Utah; as well as five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Additionally survived by his sister, Sandra Hiatt, of Palm Bay, Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife, Naomi; his father and mother; and his brother, James Howard Baldwin.

Funeral service will be held Saturday morning, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah 84651. Interment will be in the Monroe City Cemetery, 650 North Washburnville Road, Monroe, Utah, at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022.
