DENVER, Colo.—Funeral services for James (Joe) Adams were Monday, March 4 a the Galilee Baptist Church in Denver. Graveside services with full military honors were conducted at the Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Adams of Aurora, Colo., former resident of Rock Springs, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 1991 in Denver.

He was born July 22, 1930 in Lelah, Texas. He was employed by Luff Exploration while living in Rock springs and was the founder and president of Jireh Land and Seed. He has resided in Denver for the past 10 years and at the time of his death he was a retired consultant.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Adams of Aurora; two sons, Tray B. Adams and Danny J. Adams, both of Rock Springs; Danny Adams’ wife, Shanna and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel, all of Rock Springs; his father and mother, E.H. and Anabel Adams of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Jane McDaniels of Florida and Margaret Griffin of Houston; one brother, Jerry Adams of Pawnee, Okla.
