Catharine Lois (Baker) Snodgrass, 98, Emporia, Kansas, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Presbyterian Manor in Emporia, Kansas.

She was born May 27, 1907, southeast of Humboldt, Kansas, the daughter of Clement V. Baker and Catharine Alice Kissell.

She married Harold F. Snodgrass on Dec. 23, 1925, in Humboldt. He died on Sept. 30, 2000.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Emporia, where she was active in several church circles. She was also a member of Priscilla Sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Cunningham, of Emporia, KS; four sons, Erlin Snodgrass and Dwight Snodgrass, both of Shell Knob, MO, Bruce Snodgrass, of Lawrence, KS, and J.D. Snodgrass, of Grand Junction, CO; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.
