Vernon Francis Binder, 54, a resident of the Canterbury Villa Retirement Center, died Friday, Nov. 18. He was born Oct. 19, 1929 at Hays, the son of Isidore J. and Clara (Braun) Binder.
Survivors include a son, Mike, Hays; his father, Hays; and four sisters, Rosemary Rupp, Firna Jean Dreiling, Glenda Ann Knapp and Sharon Schmidt, all of Hays.
Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Father Roger Mietl officiated; burial was in the church cemetery.
