Thomas W. (Red) Boyd, 75, of 804 Elm Street [LaGrange, GA] died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center.

A native of Butts County, Mr. Boyd had lived here for the past 43 years and was a retired employee of the Elm City Plant of Callaway Mills Company. He was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church and the 25-Year Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Boyd of LaGrange; four daughters, Mrs. Huldah Yarbrough of Phoenix City, Ala., Mrs. Lottie Jiles of Douglasville, Mrs. Tommie Lou Hadaway of Riverview, Ala., and Miss. Kathleen Boyd of LaGrange; three sons, William P. Boyd of Phoenix City, W. Crews BOYD of Jonesboro and Lamar Boyd of LaGrange; three sisters, Louise O'Neal of Jackson, Mrs. Sarah Parr of Mableton and Mrs. Margaret Abernathy of LaGrange; five brothers, Horace Boyd of Jackson, George Boyd of Atlanta, J. P. Boyd of Cleveland, Freeman Boyd of Decatur and Wilmer Boyd of Conyers; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Rev. Forest Bateman and Rev. Bobby L. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
