DUNCANNON - Donald H. Bomgardner, 74, of 9 McNaughton Drive, died Monday in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp. He operated an orchard at Gardners RD 2 and formerly worked at the Pentagon for the Department of the Air Force and at the former Middletown Air Depot and at Stewart Field, N.Y. He also was a former salesman for International Harvester, L.B. Smith Inc. and the Pettibone Co.; and was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Irma Walther Bomgardner; two sons, a daughter; a brother; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Friday in Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. [Patriot-News (Harrisburg, PA), June 5, 1991]
