Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Gertrude Richardson Hutson, 70, of Polkville, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Polkville Pentecostal Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hutson died at Baptist Hospital in Jackson Monday after an extended illness.

She leaves her husband, Elbert W. Hutson; a son Willie S. Hutson, of Jackson; six daughters, Mrs. Mildred Huff, Mrs. Emma White and Mrs. Grace Harrison, all of Polkville, Mrs. Alice Barham of Philadelphia, Mrs. Helen Arender and Mrs. Ruby Nell Phillips of Jackson; 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Lola Crosby and Mrs. Lillie Bell James of Polkville, Mrs. Cora Lee Thornton and Mrs. Rachel Thompson of Jackson; two brothers, Sherman Richardson of Polkville and Crafton Richardson of Ocean Springs.
