Bessie L. (Ames) Usher, 76, of Bonne Terre, MO died at Parkland Health Center. She was born March 21, 1918 in St. Francois County MO to the late George and Melissa (Cooksey) Ames. She was preceded in death by husbands: Alvin Duren, Charles Ringer, and Orville E. Usher.

She is survived by three daughters: Glenda (Tom) Ramsey and Alberta (Homer) Isgrigg, both of Bonne Terre, MO and Dawn (John) Joyce of Park Hills, MO; two step-daughters: Wanda (Harlon) Richmond of Anderson, MO and Wilma Jean (Pete) Jones of Bismarck, MO; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held today at 4:00 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, MO. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Boyer Chapel with the Reverend Earl Ames officiating and the Reverend Gary Garner assisting.

Burial will be in the Germania Cemetery in Bonne Terre, MO.
