Arthur Butler, aged 50 years, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ida L. Baker, 134 Cleveland Avenue, Waynesboro. He came to Waynesboro a week ago to make his home with his sister. He was born at New Baltimore, the son of William & Margaret Kauffman Butler, and lived his entire life at New Baltimore. (South Mountain) He had been employed at the State Sanatorium until 12 years ago, when he developed an asthmatic heart condition and had been unable to work. He is survived by these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Ida L. Baker of Waynesboro; Mrs. Cortney Verdier of Mont Alto; Mrs. Anna Staley of Gettysburg; Mrs. John Kuhl, Allison Park, Pa.; Mrs. J.W. Brumdage, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. L.P. Kriner, Waynesboro; Maurice Butler of Lewistown, Pa. Burial will be made in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain, Pa.
