Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for Harriet J. Heiser, 63, of Port Washington who died April 3, 1979, at St. Alphonsus Hospital. The Rev. Roland Glass officiated.
Mrs. Heiser was born to Henry and Yuba Schmitz on Nov. 21, 1915, in Port Washington. She married Wilbur Heiser of Port Washington, on Jan. 8, 1938. He preceded her in death Apr. 7, 1975.
She was a member of Port Washington High School Music Booster Club, the Senior Citizens, and the Eghart Museum. She was a volunteer librarian at St. Mary’s Catholic School.
Mrs. Heiser is survived by three sons, Charles of Grafton, Richard of Port Washington and Robert of Green Bay, three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Rachel) Lewandowski of Racine, Mrs. Jack (Marie) Lemke of West Bend and Mrs. Edward (Jeannette) Block of Bellevue Washington, eight grandchildren, two brothers Roland Schmitz of Prescott Ariz., and Raymond of Grafton, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Florence) Wille of West Bend.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.
