Kelly Denise Strickland Lee, 38, of Waycross died Thursday (Dec. 19, 2013) at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Blackshear and lived in Waycross all of her life. Ms. Lee was a Certified Nursing Assistant and loved to cook and do housekeeping.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Conway Strickland; grandfather, G.H. Taylor.
Survivors include three children, Gabriella Marissa Avery Lee, Lawton Michael Lee and Kaitlyn Diane Lee all of Waycross; her mother, Karen Diane Taylor of Waycross; her father, Johnnie Lee Strickland of Waycross; one sister, Jessica Jordan and her husband Daniel of Darien; her grandmother, Mollie Faye Strickland; her good friend, Lori Colon of Waycross.
A memorial service will be held Monday afternoon at 3 pm at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel.
