Allie Juanita was born to parents Alton Baker and Allie Stevens Baker on April 29, 1924, in Kinder, Louisiana. She spent her childhood years in Kinder along with her brother Alton Baker, Jr, and sister Dorothy Gurley, where she graduated from Kinder High School. In 1947 she married Ermon Rostrom. Shortly after marrying, they moved to the family farm where they raised rice. Three years into the marriage they welcomed their first child, Carol Rostrom Eidman followed by Jean Rostrom Ingram and Sue Eileen Rostrom. Allie Juanita spent her days caring for her precious family and raising her girls.
One of her biggest joys was becoming the role of "Gan" as her grandchildren called her.
After losing Ermon, Allie Juanita spent her later years with her group of girlfriends enjoying birthday club, Bible Study, and making quilts.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Rostrom Eidman (Dallas), Jean Rostrom Ingram (Houston), and Sue Eileen Rostrom (Welsh) along with two grandchildren, Jamie Eidman Waldrep (Jordan Waldrep) and Scott Warner Eidman (Victoria Eidman) and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Parker and Davis Waldrep.
