Janie Purser Blackwelder Obituary
HIGH POINT -- Mrs. Blackwelder, 78, died Saturday, May 1, 2004 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Blackwelder is survived by six children, four grandsons, seven granddaughters, two sisters, Mrs.. Terzie Simpson and Mrs. Mable Nance, both of Charlotte, and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Purser of Charlotte and Mrs. Peggy Purser of New Salem.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blackwelder will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, High Point. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
