Amanda Elizabeth Oller was the daughter of Bluford J. Oller and Susan Hack and the sister of Emaline Oller Cockerel, the first wife of Christopher Leo "Kit" Cockerel. Her sister Emaline died on May 30, 1907 just 15 days after the birh of a stillborn baby on May 15, 1907. She and the baby were buried at Shrewsbury Cemetery in Shrewsbury, Grayson County, Kentucky.

Christopher Leo Cockerel then married Amanda Elizabeth Oller as his second wife on January 18, 1908 in Grayson County. "Mandie" was was born there on March 1, 1878. Kit died at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 6 days on November 10, 1936 in Grayson County. Christopher was buried in the Shrewsbury Cemetery with his first wife. Mandie was a resident of Grayson County when she died July 16, 1941 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was buried as Mandie E. Cockerel at the South Union Cemetery located in South, Kentucky on the Grayson County and Edmonson County line.
