John Storm [1809-1835] was the eldest and apparently first child of James Storm and wife. I believe the following is a strong possibility of the mother of John Storm [1809-1835]:

groom's name: James Storm
bride's name: Easter Boyles
marriage date: 26 Apr 1808
marriage place: Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky

After John's marriage to Sarah Morgan, 21 Jun 1828 in Whitley Co., KY, they migrated to Greene Co., IN and came to Shelby Co., IL with John's aunt and uncles. Also coming to Shelby Co., Illinois, either directly or indirectly, were Sarah Morgan Storm's parents, William and Elizabeth Bobbitt Morgan.

John Storm [1809-1835] died in young adulthood, 18 Jul 1835, in Ash Grove Twp., Shelby Co., IL, leaving his widow and four sons. At that time, two of their sons, William H. Storm, then age 6, and Hiram J. Storm, then age 1, were taken to be raised by Elizabeth Storm Dugger, the aunt of John Storm [1809-1835]. Since she had no children of her own, it would appear that perhaps John Storm [1809-1835] had remained close to her and her husband, William Dugger. I believe it is a very strong possiblity that Elizabeth Storm Dugger has raised John Storm [1809-1835] after his mother perhaps died in childbirth or shortly after.

As to the mother of his half-siblings, the following has been shared by another long-time Storm researcher, Patty:

DNA studies prove that Sarah was actually Sarah Robins, daughter of Vincent Robins and Charity Ryker. The marriage of James Storm and Sarah Robins is documented by a marriage which took place in Shelby County, Kentucky, in 1810.
