Funeral services for Tee Garrett, 87, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the chapel of Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road, with Brother Wayne Spanhanks officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery.

Ms. Garrett passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her residence.

Ms. Garrett was born March 11, 1921, in Perryville, to James Noah and Adie Lujeanie McClenny Davis. She was a very active member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and attended the Senior's Sunday School Class. Ms. Garrett loved gardening. She was a faithful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Dude and Lois Davis of Wake Village; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Sharlene Garrett of Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Aaron Fisher of Huntsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Brady and Mary Garrett of Kilgore, Fred and Donna Garrett of Ore City, James and Linda Garrett of Omaha, J.T. Garrett of Ore City, and Kenneth Garrett of Longview; daughter, Valerie Lopez of Longview; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
