Ms. Garrett passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her residence.
Ms. Garrett was born March 11, 1921, in Perryville, to James Noah and Adie Lujeanie McClenny Davis. She was a very active member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and attended the Senior's Sunday School Class. Ms. Garrett loved gardening. She was a faithful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Dude and Lois Davis of Wake Village; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Sharlene Garrett of Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Aaron Fisher of Huntsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Brady and Mary Garrett of Kilgore, Fred and Donna Garrett of Ore City, James and Linda Garrett of Omaha, J.T. Garrett of Ore City, and Kenneth Garrett of Longview; daughter, Valerie Lopez of Longview; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
