Lynwood Earl Agee, 76, of Scottsville, passed away, July 26, 2023 at The Woodland. He was born September 18, 1946 to the late Irving Tyree Agee and Mabel Eleaza Baber Agee.

Missing him greatly is his wife of 53 years, Pearl Wade Agee. He is also survived by sister, Bernice A. Rader; niece Kathryn R. James; great-niece, Alexandra James; nephews, David D. Wade and Darrell J. Wade.

Lynwood retired from the Virginia department of Transportation with 29 years service, but was always a farmer at heart. He loved working his land and tending his cattle.

Lynwood was a charter and honorary member of the Glenmore Volunteer Fire Department with 53 years service. He was a member of Taylor #117 Masonic Lodge and 32nd Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.

Pearl would like to thank the staff of the Memory Care Unit of The Woodland for the care and kindness shown to Lynwood during his time there.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
